About Workinspanish
Hi! I’m Consuelo Alonso, founder of Workinspanish.
Workinspanish was born from a real need: the lack of online Spanish courses focused on business and professional contexts, but that also integrate everyday Spanish. Our lessons connect business Spanish with the language of daily life, so you can communicate naturally and effectively — whether in meetings, emails, or informal conversations. Each course is tailor-made to your goals using a practical, communicative approach. You’ll learn what you need, at your own pace, with real-world context and flexibility.
I’m a Spanish teacher specialized in business, international trade, and marketing. Before becoming a language trainer, I worked in England and Germany in multilingual business environments, using Spanish, English, and German on a daily basis. After studying International Commerce and Marketing at the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, and gaining extensive real-world experience, I found my passion in teaching. I then completed a postgraduate degree in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language. Since then, I’ve been combining my business background with language teaching, helping professionals gain confidence and fluency in both professional and everyday Spanish.
